Hey there! My name is Michele, and I'm the human behind Drew + Jule. I named Drew + Jule in honor of my loves, my husband and my daughter, borrowing their middle names.

I have been drawing my entire life, but as my photography career took off, I made less and less time for my other artistic passions. When the pandemic hit in 2020, I was very pregnant, very stressed, and very much in need of a distraction. I decided to channel some of that restlessness into digital illustration, and it quickly relit a creative spark that I had been missing for a long time.

Drawing has become my meditation after long days of chasing a very sassy (and unreasonably adorable) toddler around. I've loved having the opportunity to create freely without pressure, and just draw whatever I'm in the mood to draw!
